Gulmarg biosphere reserve

The Gulmarg biosphere reserve is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including some extremely rare species. It covers an area of 180-square-kilometre and is roughly 48 kilometres from Srinagar. The musk deer of this biosphere is the main attraction here, which attracts many tourists. As you travel deeper into the forest, you may see brown bears, hangul, leopard, black bear, red fox, and various fauna such as upland birds.
