Legend 1: As the legends speak, once a sadhu lived within the fort area. He warned everyone that if anyone built a house taller than his, the entire fort town would be cursed and destroyed. Later, some pillars were added to the fort that cast a shadow on the sadhu’s house, due to which the town got cursed and slowly destroyed.

Legend 2: According to another legend, a priest who practised black magic lived in the fort town. He fell in love with the princess of Bhangarh. The zero damage makes it unique.
