This museum is open from 10 AM to 6 PM from Tuesday to Friday and from 10 AM to 8 PM from Saturday to Sunday and it is closed on Mondays. The ticket costs 30 rupees for Indians and 100-500 rupees for foreigners.

The national library is located on the Belvedere Road in Alipore and it is open from 9 AM to 8 PM on all working days and from 9:30 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
