Nakki Lake

There is a legend associated with this lake that it was created by gods themselves and it was at this place that the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed. Guru Shikhar

It is the highest point in Mount Abu and also the highest peak of the Aravalli mountain range. From the top of this peak, you get a clear view of the whole region that looks fascinating. This spot is also known for trekking, photography, nature walks, etc. It is open all days from 8 AM to 6:30 PM and there is Mount Abu wildlife sanctuary located nearby where one can go to explore the different kinds of species of flora and fauna.

Achalgarh

It is a fort that was also an ancient kingdom constructed by Paramara Dynasty rulers. It is said to have been built in 1452 by Maharana Kumbha of Mewar kingdom. Today, it lies in its ruined state and most tourists visit to witness the fallen majestic structure. In around this area, one also go for hiking, visits Jain temples, shops for different kinds of artifacts in the local markets, etc.

There is also an ancient temple here known by the name of Achaleshwar Mahadeva Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
