Festivals in July celebrated in various parts of India 

Hemis Gompa Fair 

Located at an altitude of 9680 m, this divine place in Himachal Pradesh offers an easy access to a clear, and dazzlig sky.  Witness the magic of stars in your eyes from the villages named Kibber and Kaza.

Minjar Festival 

It will be celebrated on 24th July 2022 in the Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh. It goes on for seven days and people wear silk attire and offer prayers at Laxmi Narayan Temple. Other attractions here are handicraft exhibition, carnival rides, shopping stalls, etc. 

Champakulam Boat Race 

It is celebrated in Pamba River, Kerala. The starting ceremony of this festival is something that one should not miss. The artists dance, sing perform activities on their boats. It shall be celebrated on 12th July this year 

Guru Purnima 

This year it shall be celebrated on 13th July 2022. The major places in India where one must go to enjoy the beauty of this festival are Rishikesh, Govardhan, and other regions. It is celebrated to remember sage Vyasa who has written many Hindu scriptures.  

Behdienkhlam Festival 

It is going to be celebrated on 14th July 2022 in Meghalaya. It is a very interesting tribal festival that is celebrated to cast off evil spirits that cause plague 

Ladakh Polo Festival 

It shall be celebrated this year from 11th – 17thJuly 2022. Along with this game, folk dance and musical performances also take place. 

Sawan Shivratri 

It will be celebrated on 26th July 2022 for Lord Shiva. The temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are the best places to visit to experience the warmth of the festival. 

Coimbatore Book Festival 

It is going to be organised from 22th- 31st July 2022. This book festival is also famous for trade show for art, craft, innovative products, and souvenirs.
