Some forts where you can experience zip lining are Neemrana fort and Mehrangarh fort. If you are close to Delhi then Neemrana can be your choice of location. The timings are normally 9 am to 5 pm.

Sand dunes Safari

Jaisalmer is famous for its unique safari that takes place in the Thar Desert. This sand dune safari takes place in the Sam sand dunes. It begins with a camel ride which is for about 90 minutes. On the way a few tourist attractions also take place. Here one of the tourist attractions is a place where local cuisine is served with a short Rajasthani dance performance. This is optional and another experience that can be chosen instead of this is a remote sand dune safari where you cross Khuri sand dunes for a more genuine desert experience.

The meal served here is simple local cuisine and at night you can stay here as the tents are good enough for you to sleep in. This is one of the best places for astronomy tourism too. You can be here in silence and simply fall on your back for star gazing.

Quad Biking in Sam Sand dunes

 Quad biking is a must-try super thrilling activity you can choose. This dusty pool of dust can actually be a memorable event on your trip to Jaisalmer. Here you get to feel the desert from a very close angle on a sturdy monster bike. This is a must-try activity that can be experienced only in deserts. There is a guide at all times close to you who keeps helping you if needed. The entire activity of Quad biking is 25 minutes on the dunes.

Karni Mata Temple, Bikaner: This mysterious temple is very popular as it shelters more than 25,000 rats on the temple premises. The rats eat the food and the same food is distributed amongst the devotees as prasad. This temple is also known as the Nari Mata temple. This temple is more than 600 years old and it is 30 km away from Bikaner. The rats that inhabited the temple are considered holy rats and are known as “Kabbas”. There are two popular legends about the rats of Karni Mata.
